Digital Fridge Freezer Thermometer
A digital fridge/freezer thermometer has the added benefit of sounding a warning alarm when the temperature inside your fridge or freezer drops below your recommended setting. The main unit of a digital fridge freezer thermometer is placed outside of the fridge or freezer whilst taking the temperature of the room and a cable is fed through the rubber seal with a stainless steel probe attached to take the temperature inside your fridge/freezer. This is a more accurate way of monitoring temperature because you don’t need to open the door and let warm air in the fridge/freezer while checking the temperature.
Horizontal & Vertical Fridge Freezer Thermometers
This type of thermometer has a spirit filled blass tube and can be placed directly on the shelf or it can be hung of a wire rack. With many different designs they also have recommended zones for a freezer as well as the fridge.
Dial Fridge/Freezer Thermometer
Dial fridge/freezer thermometers can also be either hung or placed directly on the fridge shelf. This type of fridge freezer thermometer measures temperature by a bimetal sensor.
