IP Thermometers (BS 2000)

The IP thermometers listed below are made in accordance with specifications drawn up by the Institute of Petroleum (IP) for use with specific test methods of petroleum and its products. Many of the tests and instrument specifications are jointly agreed with ASTM and they are marked accordingly. The list of these IP thermometers is now part of a British Standard. While these IP thermometers were designed for specific tests, many of them have other uses as quality precision thermometers.
They are supplied in yellow back glass whenever possible.
