Blue Spirit ASTM Equivalent Thermometers

The following thermometers have been developed as blue spirit filled alternatives to the standard mercury filled ASTM thermometers (please see Standard ASTMs listed on pages 28-31). All the below instruments can be produced with the blue filling, however those marked with an “S”, ie “S5C”, are exact equivalents to the ASTM Standard, others are similar to the Standard. These thermometers can be supplied with UKAS Calibration Certificate or Statement of Conformity on request.

Thermometer Calibration

All our laboratory thermometers can be supplied with full UKAS Certification on request. Our facilities conform to (BS) EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 – ‘General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’. For temperature measurement our laboratory can calibrate all types of liquid-in-glass thermometers i.e. both spirit and mercury.
